The Facebook article was interesting. I could agree with much of what Joanna said in the article. I do think Facebook is an important networking tool. For me personally I like how casual the relationships are on Facebook and I like keeping tabs on people I know or care about. At the same time I have a hard time with all the friend requests from people I don't know. I started using Facebook a month or so ago and I have friend requests from people I don't know, like I really don't know these people or I had one class with them in high school. From what I have observed so far while using facebook is its not really just close friends. I think facebook is a great networking tool that keeps you in check with everyone you have ever come in contact with. Just like Joanna said in the article. You are never out of touch with people. I think that is a good thing.
I also thought the cartoon was entertaining.
